F&B Department

Food & Beverage Manager

  • Responsible for the management and supervision of the restaurants, bar and galley and related areas. Responsibilities include food cost budgeting, training, maintaining a high standard of food quality and service, safe handling of food supplies, etc.
  • Minimum three to five years’ food and beverage management experience with a hotel or restaurant and prior ship experience in related position, culinary background and education preferable, food protection certificates.
  • Managerial experience required.
  • Reports directly to the Hotel Manager.

Asst. Food & Beverage Manager

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the restaurants, bar and galley and related activities as directed by the F&B Manager. Responsibilities include training and maintaining a high standard of food quality and service.
  • Minimum two to three years’ food and beverage experience with a hotel or restaurant and prior ship experience in related position, culinary background and education required, food protection certificates.
  • Managerial experience required
  • Reports directly to the F&B Manager.

Head Waiter

Requirements:

  • Responsible for a certain serving station in the dining room and supervises all waiters, busboys, and wine stewards in that station. Maintain cleanliness of station, correct table settings, and maintain a high standard service from each person that is under his supervision.
  • Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.
  • Minimum three years’ hotel and restaurant and prior ship experience in related position.
  • Managerial experience needed.

Dining Room Waiter/Waitress

Requirements:

  • Serve passengers, keep menus clean, maintain cleanliness of tables and correct table settings, explain the dishes, make recommendations, supervise busboys assigned to those tables.
  • Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.
  • Two years’ prior ship experience in related position.

Wine Steward/Stewardess

  • Serve passengers alcoholic beverages, recommend and serve wines at correct temperatures and in the proper way.
  • High School Education or better; a minimum of five (5) years beverage-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Minimum one to two years’ hotel and/or restaurant or prior ship experience in related position. Extensive knowledge of wines and wine characteristics, display of vintage-related erudition
  • Essential duties include wine deliveries, booking, cabin and dining room service, may be required to assist in Wine Seminars. Extra duties may apply.
  • Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Assistant Waiter / Assistant Waitress onboard cruise ships

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or hotel department
  • Good level of English language , any other European Language is a definite advantage .Previous cruise ship experience is an important asset.
  • Age between: 21-30 years

Contractual conditions:

  • Salary : minim 1000-1200 USD/ month
  • Length of contract: 6-8 months (with the possibility of renewing upon mutual agreement)
  • Medical insurance supplied
  • Full accommodation provided

Bar Manager

  • Supervises entire operations of the bar department; oversees training and managing of the bar staff, cleanliness of lounges.
  • Reports directly to the Hotel Manager.
  • Minimum three to five years food and beverage experience.
  • Managerial experience necessary.

Assistant Bar Manager

  • Supervises day-to-day operations of the bar department; training and managing bar staff, cleanliness of lounges as directed by the bar manager.
  • Reports directly to the Bar Manager.
  • Assistant bar managers are required to have two to three years food and beverage experience.
  • Managerial experience required.

Bar Waiter/Bar Waitress

Requirements:

  • Responsible for serving alcoholic beverages to passengers in lounges and on decks. Set-up bar stations, assist in re-stocking supplies, clean stations.
  • Reports directly to the Bar Manager.
  • Restaurant and bar experience working in restaurants or hotels, preferably on board the ship

Bartender

Requirements:

  • Responsible for serving alcoholic beverages to passengers in lounges and on decks, bar set-up, cleanliness, stocking
  • Reports directly to the Bar Manager.
  • Restaurant or bar experience working in restaurants or hotels.
  • Expert in mixing drinks.
  • Companies demand prior experience.
  • High School Education or vocational;
  • Minimum of three (3) years beverage-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working experience in 4 and 5 Star Hotels and on board vessels is required.
